CandyKing Summer Campaign 2024


These terms and conditions and Cloetta’s privacy policy prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. This promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

The promotion will run from 00:01 10/06/24- 23:59 28/07/24.

Any entries received outside the promotional period will not be accepted.


1.To enter prize draw, scan QR code, enter contact details and play the CandyKing game to participate.

2. In order to play the game, all players must also select a Username. Usernames can appear on the “Leaderboard”, which shows a list of the players and scores of those who are doing the best and has the highest scores in the game during that specific week. The “Leaderboard” is updated automatically after each game play. Promoter has the right to change the user’s username, if Promoter deems it to be in any way inappropriate or derogatory.

3.When registering a profile, you will be able to consent to receive newsletters and marketing from CandyKing. This choice is optional and is not a requirement for participation in the campaign.

By giving you consent, you will receive CandyKing’s newsletters with the latest updates about CandyKing, events, products and campaigns to the e-mail address you provide when registering the profile.

The consent is valid during 18 months whereby it automatically lapses or until you revoke it. Your consent can be revoked at any time via the link on each email or contacting Choosing to revoke you consent will not affect your participation in the campaign. Please see our privacy policy as referred to under point 1 in these terms and conditions for more information.

4. During the term of the campaign, you can participate and collect Candy Points by playing the game. In total, by playing the game, it is possible to earn a maximum of three (3) points per day of the campaign. The points will be granted after receiving at least 1 point by playing the game. Any earned points will be tracked in the point balance on your registered profile. The points can only be used to increase your chances of your name being drawn in the weekly draw for the chance of winning the weekly prize.

Please note that points are only valid for participation in the final CandyKing Summer campaign and:

  • a) are not a currency and does not have or represent any monetary value,
  • b) cannot be exchanged for cash or other profits,
  • c) are personal and cannot be transferred,
  • d) are valid throughout the campaign term from the 10th of June 2024 to the 28th of July 2024,
  • e) lapses, meaning has no residual value and cannot be used or redeemed in any way, after the end of the campaign term on the 28th of July 2024, and
  • f) will be removed from your profile after the end of the campaign on the 28th of July 2024

5. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.

6. Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

7. Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.


Every day when you play the game, you can gain three (3) Candy Points as explained under point 3, which will provide your entry to the weekly draw and chance to win the weekly prize. All points collected are included in the weekly draw, so you can increase your chance of winning the weekly prize by collecting several points. Entry to the weekly draw does not guarantee to win the weekly prize.

Every week, five (5) winners of the weekly prize will be appointed at random among all the players of the game that week. The draw for the weekly winners will be held within the following week and the winners will be contacted within a week from the draw.

In total there will be 30 weekly prizes awarded, one to each of the two weekly winners (in total 18 winners). It is permitted for the same participant to win more than one weekly prize and/or the main prize, provided that the participant has followed these terms and conditions and is appointed at random.

A weekly prize consists of:

  • a) 1 x CandyKing Gym bag (38x35cm, estimated value £11)
  • b) 1 x CandyKing Bucket hat (onesize (head measurement 58cm), estimated value £11)
  • c) 1 x CandyKing Beach towel (70×140 cm, estimated value £16)
  • d) 1 x CandyKing Water bottle (0.5 litre (27×7 cm, estimated value £15)
  • e) 1 x CandyKing Umbrella (23”, estimated value £18)
  • f) 1 x CandyKing Swim ring (⌀ 90cm, estimated value £13)

Prize Terms:

No cash or other alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable.

The participant is responsible to pay any taxes should that be applicable to the winnings.

Winner Selection:

All eligible entries will be entered into the corresponding weekly prize draw. The winners will be selected via a randomised computer process. Each winner will be verified subject to disqualification.

Winner Notification:

In order to claim their prize, winners are required to submit a valid address details, to which the prize shall be sent, within 14 days of initial contact. If winners do not respond to the initial contact there will be another attempt made to claim the prize. If there is no response another winner will be randomly selected. County of residence will be requested for the purpose of the winners list if no objection is received.

In the case that they do not respond in time, reject the prize or are ineligible another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat once for each prize after which any remaining prizes will be null and void. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are a winner.

Prize Delivery:

Prizes will be delivered by within 28 days of prize claim and the completion of the verification process. It is the winner’s responsibility to make sure that delivery of the prize is possible, and to pick up the shipment from a collection point. The winner is also responsible for any additional costs in case of a failed delivery or if the shipment is returned to sender due to the winner’s failure to pick it up from collection point. No prizes will be shipped to addresses outside of UK boarders.


Winners may be requested but are not obliged to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with this promotion. This may include a request to use the winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity.

Winners List:

The Promoter will make available a list of winners’ surnames and counties of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of purchase and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent). The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.

It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on prize acceptance.  The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.


If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries.

If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion, the fulfilment of the prizes and/or the use of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual issues which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by relevant local law with any disputes as to the meaning of these terms and conditions subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English, Northern Irish, and Welsh courts unless you live in Scotland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent.
