Introduction:

These terms and conditions and Cloetta’s privacy policy prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

This promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

Promotional Period:

The promotion will run from 00:01 30/09/24- 23:59 01/11/24. Any entries received outside the promotional period will not be accepted. 

Entry:

To enter prize draw, scan QR code or visit https://gamecenter.flarie.com/a1ca82ce-ed4d-4cce-8bd0-fe754b65a999, enter contact details and play the CandyKing game to participate. All valid entries will be entered into the corresponding weekly draw (Monday to Sunday). No purchase requirement.

When registering a profile, you will be able to consent to receive newsletters and marketing from CandyKing. This choice is optional and is not a requirement for participation in the campaign.

By giving you consent, you will receive CandyKing’s newsletters with the latest updates about CandyKing, events, products, and campaigns to the e-mail address you provide when registering the profile.

The consent is valid for 18 months whereby it automatically lapses or until you revoke it. Your consent can be revoked at any time via the link on each email or contacting CandyKing-Campaign@cloetta.com. Choosing to revoke you consent will not affect your participation in the campaign. Please see our privacy policy as referred to under point 1 in these terms and conditions for more information.

During the term of the campaign, you can participate in each weekly prize draw by playing the game each week.  Max three entries per person per day. Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.

Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

Weekly Prizes:

Every week during the campaign, there is a chance of winning a weekly prize by playing the game. 35 participants per week of the campaign will win a weekly prize, provided that there are participants playing the game each week. Every week, 35 winners of the weekly prize will be appointed at random among all the players of the game that week. The draw for the weekly winner will be held within the following week and the winner will be contacted within a week from the draw.

In total there will be 140 weekly prizes awarded, 4 tickets to each weekly winner. It is permitted for the same participant to win more than one weekly prize, provided that the participant has followed these terms and conditions and is appointed at random.

A weekly prize consists of:

Each participant will have the option to select either Odeon or Cineworld tickets:

 – 4 x Cineworld ticket e-vouchers (estimated average value on 08/08/2024 £28.80) available to be won per person.

 – 4 x Odeon ticket e-vouchers (estimated average value on 08/08/2024 £33.08) available to be won per person.

Limited number of tickets available per cinema company.

Additional Prize Terms Cineworld Cinema:

Cineworld Cinema’s terms and conditions are applied for the Cineworld e-Vouchers as follows:

  • a) Cineworld Cinema e-vouchers (‘E-vouchers’) can be redeemed in cinema at the box office, online at www.cineworld.com or when using the Cineworld App. A booking fee per ticket applies for online and App bookings.
  • b) The E-voucher may be exchanged for one standard ticket to an Adult 2D screening in any Cineworld cinema excluding Cineworld Leicester Square and Picturehouse Cinemas.
  • c) Uplift applicable for 3D, IMAX, 4DX, Superscreen and ScreenX. Additional cost for 3D glasses will Not valid for Event Cinema, Special Unlimited Screenings, Special Advance Screenings, and Movies for Juniors.
  • d) If the E-voucher is lost, Cineworld Cinemas will not be able to provide a refund. If a booking is made using the E-voucher and this booking is later cancelled, Cineworld Cinemas will not be able to provide replacement E-vouchers or a refund.
  • e) Admission is subject to availability, normal age restrictions apply – ID may be required, and other relevant standard terms and conditions including Cineworld’s general admission terms apply (https://www.cineworld.co.uk/terms/in-cinema).
  • f) The e-voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • g) No cash alternatives.  The e-voucher is not transferable and may not be re-sold.
  • h) The E-voucher is valid from 7th October 2024 to 7th October 2025. Once expired, the E-voucher will be invalid and cannot be extended, replaced or refunded
  • i) Cineworld Cinema reserves the right to amend Cineworld Cinema’s terms and conditions at any time.
  • j) Cineworld Cinema and CandyKing competition is not valid in Leicester Square and Picturehouse Cinemas – Jersey, Belfast and Dublin.
  • k) These Ts&C’s and any related disputes are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Please note that Cloetta is not responsible for the e-vouchers, the terms applied regarding the e-vouchers or the services provided by Cineworld Cinema in any way and that any questions or claims regarding the e-vouchers or the services provided by Cineworld Cinema shall be directed to Cineworld Cinema. In case of any discrepancies between the excerpt from Cineworld Cinema’s terms and conditions stated above and the terms and conditions applied by Cineworld Cinema from time to time, the terms and conditions applied by Cineworld Cinema shall apply.

Additional Prize Terms ODEON:

Odeon Cinema’s terms and conditions are applied for the Cineworld e-Vouchers as follows: E-Voucher Adult Luxe Anytime (OPI13)

 

  • a) Voucher code may be exchanged for one ticket with a standard seat to view a standard 2D film showing at any ODEON cinema in the UK and Republic of Ireland EXCEPT the following cinemas: Islington Luxe and Dine and ODEON Luxe Leicester Square. Upgrades are payable for other film formats and seat types.
  • b) Online Redemption: You can use your ODEON voucher code to book your ODEON ticket online at odeon.co.uk or odeoncinemas.ie, and on the myODEON app. If you book online or on the myODEON app, there will be an online booking fee of £1 per ticket in the UK and €1 per ticket in the ROI.
  • c) In Cinema Redemption: You can redeem your ODEON voucher code at the ticket kiosk but not at the box office or retail counter.
  • d) Not valid for Premier seats, Club seats, D-Box seats, VIP seats, super luxury seats, any other premium priced seating unless you pay an upgrade fee. Upgrade fees vary per cinema. There will be no upgrade fees for premium priced seating in a Luxe cinema. At ODEON Bournemouth and ODEON Hatfield if there is mixed standard and recliner/super luxury seating in a screen an upgrade fee will be payable for the recliners/super luxury seats. At ODEON Taunton there will be an upgrade fee if you sit in a Luxe recliner screen.
  • e) Not valid for premium screening types such as 3D, IMAX, ISENSE or Dolby unless you pay an upgrade fee. Upgrade fees vary per cinema.
  • f) Not valid on ODEON Luxe and Dine or ODEON Event Cinema. Not valid on premieres, special events or screenings or events not open to the public.
  • g) Not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
  • h) Voucher code is valid on screenings up to and including the day shown only.
  • i) Voucher code is for your personal use only.
  • j) Voucher code cannot be used to buy gift vouchers, gift cards, food, drink or any other ODEON goods or services.
  • k) Tickets are subject to availability, normal age restrictions, and any other relevant standard terms and conditions including ODEON’s general admission terms.
  • l) Issuer: Odeon Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, 1 Stephen Street, London, W1T 1AT.

Please note that Cloetta is not responsible for the e-vouchers, the terms applied regarding the e-vouchers or the services provided by ODEON in any way and that any questions or claims regarding the e-vouchers or the services provided by ODEON shall be directed to ODEON. In case of any discrepancies between the excerpt from ODEON’s terms and conditions stated above and the terms and conditions applied by ODEON from time to time, the terms and conditions applied by ODEON shall apply.

Prize Terms:

No cash or other alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable.

Winner Selection:

All eligible entries will be entered into the corresponding weekly prize draw. The winners will be selected via a randomised computer process. Each winner will be verified subject to disqualification.

Winner Notification:

In order to claim their prize, winners are required to submit a valid email address, to which the prize shall be sent, within 14 days of initial contact. County of residence will be requested for the purpose of the winners list if no objection is received.

In the case that they do not respond in time, reject the prize or are ineligible another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat once for each prize after which any remaining prizes will be null and void. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are a winner.

Prize Delivery:

Prizes will be delivered by  within 28 days of prize claim and the completion of the verification process. It is the winner’s responsibility to make sure that delivery of the prize is possible, and to pick up the shipment from a collection point. The winner is also responsible for any additional costs in case of a failed delivery or if the shipment is returned to sender due to the winner’s failure to pick it up from collection point. No prizes will be shipped to addresses outside of UK boarders.

 

Publicity:

Winners may be requested but are not obliged to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with this promotion. This may include a request to use the winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity.

Winners List:

The Promoter will make available a list of winners’ surnames and counties of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting candyking-campaign@cloetta.com. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners list by emailing candyking-campaign@cloetta.com. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests. 

Verification:

The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of purchase and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent). The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.

Liability:

If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries.

If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion, the fulfilment of the prizes and/or the use of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual issues which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by relevant local law with any disputes as to the meaning of these terms and conditions subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts unless you live in Scotland, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

Data Protection:

The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation.
